8-Day Luxury Safari Itinerary

Day 1

After a long flight be met at the airport by one of our representatives who will transfer you to Hemmingway’s boutique hotel in the heart of the quiet leafy suburb of Karen.

Day 2

Capture incredible moments while game driving in Naboisho Conservancy and the Masai Mara National Reserve.

After a delicious breakfast transfer to Wilson Airport to start our safari adventure. Arriving after a short 1 hour flight in the heart of the Masai Mara we begin with our first game drive. It is as if the animals know we are coming as they put on an amazing display; elephants showing their sheer strength as they effortlessly break branches for their morning snack, hippos yawning in the cool ponds and gazelles leaping high into the air as they dance across the plains.

Day 3 – 4

We spend the next 2 days in awe of the wildlife rich National Reserves of the Masai Mara and Naiboisho Conservancy. Naiboisho is a private reserve limiting the number of tourists allowed into this highly concentrated wildlife protected area; the Masai Mara is home to the single greatest movement of wildlife in Africa, 2 million wildebeest and zebra migrate under the watchful eyes of crocodiles, lion, leopard, hyena and jackals awaiting their next meal.

Our accommodation is just as stunning as the scenery with luxury ensuite rooms spread out across the area ensuring privacy and premium game viewing from the comfort of your suite.

Day 5

Flying from the Masai Mara to the Kenyan coast is the ideal mode of travel for those with limited vacation time.

Time permitting and before departing our newly found peace of paradise we visit a local school where students not only learn the curriculum but also about wildlife conservation. We bid farewell to safari country for the sea breeze of the Indian Ocean on the famous Swahili coast. Flying from the Masai Mara game reserve plains to the tropical coast takes us over amazingly diverse scenery from dry arid lands scattered with Acacia trees to lush tropical forests as we near the coast.

Day 6 – 7

It is time to kick up the heels and spend a couple of days relaxing at Hemmingways Watamu resort. In true Hemmingways fashion this resort offers 5 star amenities from luxurious pools and spa to white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters; world class golf course, extraordinary snorkelling and diving to exceptional dining and discerning staff. You will be immediately transformed into relaxed tranquillity.

Day 8

We reluctantly fly back to Nairobi where you have the choice of spending an additional night or transferring to Jomo Kenyatta International airport to return home.
