One could spend hours gazing at Victoria Falls as the light changes throughout the day.

In 1855 Dr David Livingstone is believed to be the first European to lay eyes on what is now called Victoria Falls, he was speechless, in awe of this incredible product of mother nature. Since then millions have gazed at her sheer power and strength as millions of gallons of water tumble over the edge thundering hundreds of feet before reaching a narrow gorge, as if being swallowed by the earth. This spectacle can only really be appreciated in real life.

Taking on the Masai Mara in Kenya for an exciting safari experience is like nothing else imaginable; spotting rare and exotic African animals in the wild will definitely awaken the senses. To complete the ultimate African experience a few days relaxing and succumbing to the unique charm of Zanzibar island.

For those who don’t have a lot of time but want to see and do the most incredible things Africa has to offer, this 14-day flying safari ticks all the boxes: Victoria Falls, Zambia; Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya, and the romantic spice island of Zanzibar, Tanzania.

Our adventure continues as we embark on the next part of our journey – safari! This is not just any safari but a mind blowing display of wildlife. After a short flight from Nairobi we land in the heart of the Masai Mara surrounded by herds of animals and enchanting African savannah.

Imagine driving along a deserted track in the Masai Mara when your guide stops the vehicle points into the distance, you look and look and finally you see a figure just above the golden savannah as it get closer you realise it is a cheetah and two cubs. They casually wander past totally unperturbed by your presence – this is Africa.

Day 7 – 8

The excitement continues over the next 2 days as we drive in search of animals. You spot countless elephant, gazelle, eland, lion, zebra, warthog, giraffe, dik dik, buffalo, wildebeest, hippo and many more. At the end of the 2 days you try to recall your favourite moments, a leopard perched high in the tree, a rhino with her young calf, a newly born wildebeest struggling to stand for the first time while being gently nudged by its mother, nervous moments as zebra successfully cross a crocodile infested river or a rare sighting of a caracal cat.

Day 9

We return to Nairobi and depending on flight times you may want to visit Nairobi Giraffe Centre or Kazuri Beads.

Day 10

We depart Nairobi and fly to the exquisite island of Zanzibar. Before retreating to our resort on the beach we go on a journey of discovery. This afternoon we tour a spice plantation where our senses and taste buds are treated to an array of flavours and smells.
