Travelling with Kids Cairo to Cape Town
In 2010 an intrepid family from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia joined us on Cairo to Cape Town overland. The Parsons decided that a few months out of school for their 2 daughters travelling across Africa was worth more education than what a classroom could offer.
The girls, Anna and Phoebe, loved the experience. They kept a journal of their trip, which they turned into books, read lots of books and let life offer them the best education possible.
Travelling with Kids can be a challenge for the parents and the family. But the rewards often far outweigh the negatives.
As you will see from this video below Anna Parsons is taking her education to another level. She is one of 3 enrolled in the Project Based Diploma at UWC Mahindra College.
We loved watching this video and feel kind of chuffed that in some small insignificant way we may have contributed to her successes.
Our guided self drive safaris and expeditions are fabulous ways to show your kids the value of travel. Or maybe you prefer to travel with a couple of families or as a school group in one of our safari trucks
Great work!
