There are so many options for Tag Along tours. A self drive tour is for those who love driving and enjoy independence while travelling.

Tag Along Tours

Joining a safari as a tag along is a great option for those who want to get off the beaten track.  Who enjoy being away from the crowds and taking in the diversity of Africa often not found on regular safaris.  Imagine having all the day to day taken care of like meals, accommodation, border crossings and activities; yet still be in the drivers seat experiencing Africa like you never thought imaginable.  Tag along tours offer you flexibility and independence not found elsewhere.

Africa can be challenging enough to travel in your own vehicle without having the stress of not knowing where to spend the night, shop for supplies or whether your GPS will get you to the correct destination.  While for some this offers an exciting challenge for others this can be the make or break whether to drive across Africa or not.

While an organised tag along tour can be more expensive than going alone. It often saves you money in the long run.  Choosing a tour operator with their own vehicles means you don’t have to worry about shipping or transiting your own vehicle.  You don’t have to worry about organising international paperwork and the required costs associated with nor the locally required permits, insurances and cross border fees.  All of these are hidden costs often overlooked.

Travelling in a small group gives you added security and the opportunity to make some great friends to share a beer with at the end of an exciting day.  The crew make sure you have a great time and don’t miss out on any highlights as well making sure you get safely from A to B.

Watch this video to see why tag along tours are a great option.  Check out Africa Expedition Support or email Debs info@africaexpeditionsupport.com to choose ideal tag along tours for you and your family.
